About Foundation Mortgages

Foundation Mortgages was born out of a need in the market to provide an all encompassing brokerage.

Not only looking at the loan. But, looking at the client as a whole.

What are trying to achieve? What are their overall goals? Do they have the right steps and connections to achieve their goals?

The business originally operated under a different name, based on the Gold Coast.

However, when Mark Sneddon assumed ownership in early 2021, he realised a change was needed on a few levels.

1. As Mark was operating initially from the Hunter Valley in NSW and now relocated to Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland, the Gold Coast tag was no longer relevant.

2. Since taking over the business, Mark has also put a new strategist on in Jason Woon. Jason operates out of the Ipswich QLD area. Therefore, Gold Coast was also not relevant to this location either.

3. The previous name gave the inference to new clients that we only deal with the investor client.

All of these factors got Mark thinking a change was needed to eradicate the geographical constraints of a specific location in the business name and also to move away from the investor only mindset of new and potential clients.

As of November 2022, a fresh start was needed. 

New affiliations have been put in place to assist any client with their overall goals.

Clients now have access to a range of professional services.
